Joe Guligun Announced As New Misfits Character

Channel 4 have announced that there will be a new character in their BAFTA-winning drama series, Misfits. As the filming of series three kicks off, we are introduced to Rudy, played by Joe Gilgun.

Joe has previously appeared in Coronation Street and Emmerdale, as well as playing Woody in the epic This Is England.

Fans of Misfits were pretty gutted when it was announced that Robert Sheehan would be leaving the show due to filming commitments, but we’re sure that the talented new guy will more than fill his shoes.

Producer Matt Stevens recently tweeted “Just broken for lunch of first days filming with our fabulous new Misfitter – the wonderful Joe Gilgun. He looks great in orange”.  We can’t confirm that last statement, but are definitely excited to see what Joe has to offer to the show.
